Acro: A beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements, a challenging style for dancers to master. It includes balancing, limbering, tumbling, based on flexibility, contortion, and strength.
Ballet: Ballet is the most beneficial form of dance for the body placement and is the best foundation for all other dance forms. Students are not required to take Ballet; however, it is highly recommended that any student wishing to improve technique and move on to advanced classes have this essential instruction.
Contemporary: Contemporary as a dance style in itself is defined, in part, as a fusion of ballet and jazz, demanding technical skill, musicality and an expression of emotion
Heels Dance: A fusion of the strong attitude from Hip Hop & Jazz, with the sexiness of belly dancing or burlesque, our Heels Class will teach you posture, poise, power, and confidence. You will learn how to strut, pose and dance wearing your favorite heels. Come develop your heels persona!
Hip Hop: Fun and energetic sums it up. This class focuses on age appropriate hip hop dancing and music that your kids will love. They will not only learn high-energy Hip-Hop choreography but basic dance technique as well.
Jazz: Jazz classes are fun and energetic. They include such elements as kicks, leaps, turns, splits, and isolations. Classes include stretch and strengthening exercises, floor work, and across the floor progressions in addition to a center floor combinations.
Leaps, Jumps & Turns: Learn the techniques used to perfect the turns, leaps, and jumps seen in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical and Poms. This class will build balance, coordination, flexibility, and muscle memory.
Lyrical: Also known as contemporary ballet. Lyrical is a combination of ballet, jazz, and modern dance movement and usually possesses an emotional story.
Pointe: All pointe classes are designed for students with previous ballet training. Students will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations.
Tap: Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap.
